About 6 years ago, I started developing gout in my feet, with swelling and pain in the big toe and heel. I would take ibuprofen, but the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) would only help reduce the pain temporarily. Every few days, the swelling and pain would heal for one side, and then rotate to the other. It was then that I formulated MegaCare’s DeGout supplement, featuring a cast of herbs possessing anti-inflammatory properties. After a few weeks of taking DeGout 5 capsules a day, my gout condition went away.
In the summer of 2008, gout returned to my feet and legs, but with greater pain and intensity. Gout would develop in my big toe and heel, but also move up to the knee. Gout would rotate from one leg to the other, but for a period of 1 week, gout affected both feet and legs. For 1 week, I could not get out of bed, much less walk. Late in 2008, I began to wonder why a few weeks of DeGout worked in 2003, but not as well the second time around. After much research, I came to the belief that body alkalinity was at the heart of the matter.
Gout is a disease of recurrent attacks of acute inflammatory arthritis, caused by elevated levels of uric acid in the blood that crystallizes and deposits primarily in the joints and surrounding tissue. The concept of body pH balance was developed by William Howard Hay, MD in his classic text, A New Health Era. In this book, he suggests that all disease is caused by autotoxication due to acid accumulation in the body:

March 9, 2010I have been to numerous doctors over the last couple of years about my knees. I have had severe swelling and pain on a daily basis to the point that walking becomes a very hard task. All of the doctors pretty much said the same things; arthritis, normal wear and tear, not too much can be done without surgery, injections, etc.I saw a billboard from you all on the way to California and I purchased DePurine from you on Friday February 12, 2010. I began taking it as instructed and within 4 days I couldn’t believe that the swelling had gone down. I was so excited, I called you and told you the good news, but I decided to wait until a few more days to make sure before I sent you any testimonial. November 12, 2010Last November 2010 I encountered the worst case of Gout in my right ankle and ball of my foot. When I thought I was getting relief through Meds then all of a sudden I got a second gout attack in my right foot. I was on crutches and use of a Cain for over 2 months. It was a miserable 2009 holiday season.I ordered your product in early 2010 just to try it. I wanted to avoid taking allopurinol as prescribed by my doctor. I read about more negative than positive results after taking Allopurinol. I saw your Megacare product on the internet. I noticed DePurine contained all of the natural ingredients I had been looking for several years. Many Purine products contain some of the natural ingredients but not all.
